• For Hosts (account holders): Email address only. This is used for authentication via magic link and account-related communications.
• For Players (no account required): Display name entered when joining a room. This is temporary and stored only for the duration of the game session.
• Game Data: Scores, answers, and game history are stored for hosts with accounts to review past games.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data exclusively for:

• Authenticating hosts via magic link emails
• Enabling game functionality (joining rooms, tracking scores)
• Storing game history for account holders
• Sending important service-related communications

4. Third-Party Services

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics (such as page visits). Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data that directly identifies visitors.

Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare, which may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more details.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the service to function:

• Session cookies to maintain your login state
• Functional cookies to remember your preferences

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Player data: Temporary game session data is deleted when the room expires (5 minutes after the host disconnects for free rooms).

Host accounts: Your email and game history are retained until you delete your account.
